DEPOSITS
A
50% DEPOSIT OF THE ESTIMATED COST IS REQUIRED TO CONFIRM YOUR FUNCTION'S
DATE.
This is due upon the signing of the contract. The deposits must be made by
check or cash. We also accept credit cards for deposits but not final
payments. Without this deposit we will not hold a date for you.
The balance MUST be paid by CERTIFIED check or cash ( no credit cards) one
week before the function. All deposits are non-refundable in case of
client cancellation. If the client does not call with their final
count by 7 days before, the estimated count will be considered their final
count amount and can only go up (within reason) not down from that point.
When figuring your guest count please remember to include bridal party,
family, guest of honor, V.I.P.'s, band, minister, D.J. and Photographer.
(anyone who will be eating should be counted for this function)
There is a $ 75.00 charge for any checks that are returned by bank.
SERVICE
CHARGES AND TAXES
A 20% to 22% service charge will be applied to the total
price (after taxes are figured) of any WORKED function using
plastic and a 25% to 28% service charge to any WORKED
function using glass or china. This service charge is already
included in any package plan pricing. If the function is seated served there
will be a 28% service charge applied. If your service charge is lower then
$ 85.00 there will be a base price of $ 85.00 per worker charged. This charge covers your party workers for up to 2 hours
party time, all buffet cloths and skirting (if needed) and any
equipment needed for the food areas. This charge is NOT A TIP.
Tips are not included in the price of the function, but are greatly
appreciated by your service staff.
If the workers are needed for longer then 2 hours party time
there will be a extra per hour charge added per worker for them to extend
their time. Wedding clients will need to supply servers for punch
and cake if we do not supply the cake. These clients may hire people
through us to serve these items. We will serve cake and supply
plates & forks for cakes that have been ordered from us. If client supplies their own WEDDING cake there is a $ 2.00 a person
for one cake $ 2.50 for two plating fee for us to supply the servers,
plastic plates and plastic forks. If glass and stainless forks are wanted for the cake the charge is $ 3.00
CHARGE we must be notified that you will need these servers at least
one month before function.
Taxes are Henry County Taxes. If client goes with a package party
plan the tax and service charge and any overtime is all inclusive.
BAR
SERVICE AND BARTENDERS
Bartenders are $ 45.00 per hour, per bartender with a minimum of FOUR hours bar
time (this consists of 3 hours bar time and 1/2 hour set-up and 1/2 hour
break-down time). Arrangements may be made for the bartender to stay longer for the
additional per hour charge. This price doesn't include any tips you may wish to give. You may add a bowl of party mix for $ l.25 more a person.
If renting Pinehurst Tea Room for your function our clients must
purchase all wine and beer for their function from Pinehurst Tea Room and cannot bring in any alcohol
of their own. If holding the function at another location you may supply your own
(unless that facility has it's own restrictions). Pinehurst can
supply the bartenders and set-ups if you wish for off prem functions.
TABLES,
DECORATIONS AND RENTALS
If function is at another location (not the Tea Room) Clients must provide
all tables, chairs, and linens for tables their guest are to sit . All
centerpieces and buffet centerpieces unless ordered from us for an
additional charge. The client must supply any tents needed for your
function.
If a tent is needed at The Tea Room it must be a free- standing tent with
no spikes or center poles.
We offer for rent wine fountains, cake fountains, tabletop candelabras,
silk palms & ferns and a wedding archway. We have great rental
companies to refer you to for your tent, table and chair rental needs.
Clients renting the Tea Room may use the tables, chairs cloths and
centerpieces there.
If more is needed then the Tea Room has clients must supply any
additions at their own cost.
Cake brought to a function by client will have a table set-up charge and a
plating charge added to contract.

BOOKINGS ARE NOT CONSIDERED A VALID BOOKING AND A DATE WILL ONLY BE HELD
AS A FIRM DATE AFTER A CONTRACT IS SIGNED AND A DEPOSIT IS GIVEN. WE
WILL NOT HOLD A DATE WITHOUT A CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT!!
